Making my day

This week has been a bad week for my blog. Real life and the virtual world are competing for space.

So Denise at Freshly Found Thank You for presenting me the You Make My Day award. The feeling is entirely mutual.

Whenever I visit my 'happy' sites, the world's a better, brighter and richer place to be in and I walk away renewed. Most of my favourites like Freshly Found, SkinnyLaMinx and Jezzeblog are high on lots of lists and have been awarded already. But here is some magic to be found:

Pannifer's Food and Such only one of three blogs by Alan Mailloux and Barb McMahon. He's a chef and she's a writer. I love the way she writes and that it's about food is a bonus.

Cake and Milk Paperie by Angeline Tsao who designs the most beautiful whimsical stationary and I've been following quietly for ages.

Sixandahalfstitches whose approach and photography I just love and again have been following on the quiet.

Musings of a Garden Historian from the other side of the world, whose quite observations and great knowledge I really appreciate. And I'm facinated by the difference in climate and the way it influences everything we do from what we plant to the way we feel about our seasons.

Print & Pattern if you ever wonder why I go on about nature as a creative inspiration you'll see lots of examples of it and other patterns here. A veritable visual feast!

The rules are:
1. Write a post with links to 5 blogs that make your day.
2. Acknowledge the post of the award giver.
3. Tell the award winners that they've won by commenting on their blogs.

Thanks Heloise. You made my day!
I am a neophyte when it comes to computers but I have just learned how to add links to my blog. I have added your blog to my list of favorites. I will definitely visit the other sites you mentioned here. Isn't this blogging world great!
