I doubt you will remember but this large ball of wool has finely turned into a poncho. The frill remains a mystery - it wasn't in the instructions, it wasn't on the example, but it refused to go away. So here it is just in time to pack away for next winter (who knows maybe frills will be back in by then).

Hullo Denise! It's really lovely to hear from you - High praise from someone who I admire so-much (I'm rather self conscious about the poncho - not entirely convinced it works but I suppose the secret is in the wearing.)
